Wesley United Church is looking for an enthusiastic, self-directed, well-organized person to work 20-25 hours per month in congregational development.
You will bring the congregation together by being aware of and creating opportunities for volunteering and engagement in the community.
You will arrange the training and participation of the volunteers for event planning such as organizing the Christmas Market, Women’s Night Out, games nights, children’s activities and more.
You will also bring people together by communicating on Social Media, communicating with other churches, perhaps leading a bookclub.
This job would be suitable for a university student or someone looking for part time work; someone who is collaborative, patient, a good host. It would be an asset if you are familiar with the United Church. If you think you are over-qualified, don’t be afraid to apply!
